TIMELINE

Timeline is a video instillation on the selective history of architecture. The video hints at something organic and constantly changing. What interested us, more than the structure of the video, were the transitional phases when the flow of the video is disrupted by dramatic changes in scale, density, and representation. It made us question if it is possible to extract architecture from those ephemeral moments. In another way, the morphs brings up the question: Is the sum of architecture greater than its constituents? Perhaps a journey through the history of architecture, one will be able to grasp a greater truth more than just examining its constituent parts.
